OK.. the B2 has a bad risp pin.. thats the loud knocking. So now it's time for a swap.. 2 options..
1- I can get a full size bronco with a 351W and swap the motor, trany and transfer case...
or 2: I have a 4.0v6 out of a 92 ranger but will need to add electric fuel pump and change the fly wheel. also change out dashes..
some of your thoughts...

4.0 would probably be easier in the long run. With the 351 I predict broken axles and shit.  |

i'd go for the 4.0 for many reasons. reliable, plenty of power, EFI and iirc its a bolt in swap.

4.0 Thats what I was thinking.. well looks like the B2 will be down for about a week or so... the 4.0 also only has 39K miles on it. I bought the hole truck so I would have everything to do it..

yes but non LSD.. I found a 91 explorer with a 8.8 373 lsd. he is asking $400 for it. thought I might get it and change the front and rear axles...

if you dont drive it everyday a spool is really cheap for an 8.8
limited slip doesnt work the greatest as it requires the use of additive every time you change the fluid and it relies on clutches to work and with mileage they wear out

Thats the problem, if I can t get a title for the jeep, then I'll have to drive it everyday.. but while I'm pulling the motor and stuff I would like to get better axles under it .. Try to get it all done at once.. then go PLAY!! On another note.. Why am I on here as much as anyone else, started more post and yet I only have one yellow star? Come on lower your standards a bit  lol! |
