well toll on the jeep so far since ownership is radiator-130 tstat-6 all 4 tie rods-80 rear shock mounting bolt-6 both o2 sensors-80 starter-90 alternator-140 battery-95 belt-38 wheel joint-20 brake caliper bolt-3
other parts ive broke but havent replaced- tailpipe. its laying somewhere between ellinwood and west raymond bridge along the river. drivers side fog lamp lens. broke in the hail storm we had on the way back from tuttle. didnt work anyways so no biggie
so far its been a good wheelin' machine. the thing is an absolute beast when you mash the skinny pedal. needs a front locker pretty bad. the rear axle is about shot so i'm waiting until i have an 8.8 ford to upgrade to with rear disc and i'm gonna lunchbox both axles. i hate the front control arm hangers as they hit every little thing when its in the rocks but it holds up fairly well but the pot metal that the factory arms are made out of i'm not sure will. if i dont long arm this thing in the near future i'd be surprised.
to add to this list seeing as i got it stuck for its first time on saturday and for some reason now it decided it wanted a slushy for coolant and the power steering decided to almost lock up with nasty colored fluid. i am doing a coolant thaw and flush with new coolant and a power steering flush with additive and new fluid.

power steering pump is k.i.a. tack another $80 onto the total list of parts and going ahead and replacing the return hose but thats cheap. couple cans of brake cleaner to clean up all the power steering fluid that went everywhere and i'll be good to go

well another list of parts: power steering pressure hose-23 trans filter/fluid-44 lucas trans fix(actually worked)-12 tps-34 distributor-74 cap-12 rotor-10 hub assemblies-140 spindle nut kits-25 plugs-12
and this weekend I'll be welding the cracked APN header thats on it so that requires removal of the intake manifold as well which I am going to clean up all the sensors while off and injectors. also hopefully give me a better look as to where its leaking oil from. I'm fairly sure its got a very slow trickle from the front main and rear main both but possibly the valve cover as well. the oil filter adapter seems to still be good and leak free, but I did notice that the oil drain plug has been replaced before and it looks like whoever did so didnt put a gasket on it and instead just used a ring of silicone around the bolt so I snagged a new magnetic drain plug and gasket for the next time i change the oil. may just do a rear main/front main/ pan/ valve cover gaskets change in the near future. I hate oil leaks
