And on to the seats. your going to want to just make the mounts out of tube and tie them into the cage. so you can just use the sliders that come with the seats.

so just weld the sliders to the tube? was kinda wanting the seats a decent amount away from the cage to have some flexibility in reclining and movement and to have plenty of adjustability in the harnesses since they will be tied into the cage

yes and yes on the second post. on the first post your over thinking the seats. Your just going to run tubes side to side and mount the sliders to the tubes with tabs. You can mount the seats wherever the fuck you want. Dont overthink it. Do more research

that works. i'm planning on starting to tear the thing down this weekend since its going to be nice. hope to maybe have the body mostly apart saturday and start thinking up an idea on frame bracing etc. sunday and possibly start measuring out how much tube i'll need and maybe start getting crap ordered as time goes by
