got the nut and lockwasher on the rag joint buttoned up, both front clip mounts buttoned up. tach is mounted in the cluster just needs secured a smidge better. so basically whats left... shorten bed, wire up lights and gauges, bleed brakes, mount shocks, move rear shock mounts and mount shocks, make bed mounts, mount cowl, bunch of small crap.

have taken the thing out twice. first time out was a success with only problem being the front shocks didnt have near enough uptravel. since then we put different shocks on the front and moved front upper shackle hangers. rear shocks are entirely too stiff and are being changed as well. second trip out i had a passenger axle joint failure that resulted in both inner and stub axle failure and the entire knuckle coming apart from the axle tube by ripping both balljoints out. balljoints have been replaced so i could get it back home. i got both new spicer shafts and 760x joints to replace the old small diameter shafts and terrible precision ujoints and i am picking up a set of warn lockouts and a welded carrier for the front prior to the big run. other things i have since done are replaced the transmission mount which looked to be original and beyond gone and next is replacing motor mounts on both sides since one is missing a nut and the other the rubber was completely gone. i have also installed a head unit and speakers in the doors. gotta have my tunes!
