i'll be there saturday afternoon and sunday. gonna start tearing it apart. gonna shoot for 3600lb or less on this build and just save for some rcv's for the dana 44 and rock some 40's when everythings said and done. i know its possible when it weighs close to that now. that way i dont have to redo all the steering and i can just add the hydraulic assist to what i've got now and get a "p" pump to fix the wobbliness of the current one. drivetrain will probably stay about the same on this go around but shaving the 14bolt and clocking the 208 along with some add ons on the axles but motor will be untouched besides a different air cleaner and a different shifter for the trans

So this weekend i managed to cut the back half of the body off to start tubing out the rear and making a floor. it's amazing how much rust there is on the original body and floor and how good of shape the frame is in although i was amazed as to how little of bracing there is between frame rails. decided to cut the frame down in the rear 1" past the shackle hangers which actually removes 16". thats quite an improvement on my departure angle. so far i will have to order a fuel cell and an external pump. seeing as i never burn more than 10gallons of fuel when we go wheeling I think its safe to get a 15gal cell. so the best deal i could find on a cell was actually surprisingly polished aluminum...blingage www.ebay.com/itm/Aluminum-Fuel-Cell-15-Gal-Gallon-w-sender-Universal-Tank-Polished-aluminum-/310505558668?hash=item484b92d28c&item=310505558668&pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtrwill have to adapt the -10an to -6. and i will run a holley blue pump shortly after in the setup and then adapt from the -6 to the factory lines since they are steel braided from the factory. no regulator needed as the max pressure is 14psi which is the same as my stock pressure regulator in the throttle body with the harris performance spring. this auction is a tad high on price for the holley blue but they run anywhere from 40-100 bucks www.ebay.com/itm/Holley-12-812-1-Blue-Electric-Fuel-Pump-110-GPH-Without-Regulator-/390506427479?hash=item5aebff3457&item=390506427479&pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtronly other plans i've thought up is a fire extinguisher mount for the drivers side rear bar of the roll cage and need to find a good source for ammo/munition cans for tool/storage. also unsure of how much winch it would take to suck the rear of the rig down for climbs but the truss i was looking at for the 14 bolt has a winch mount on it and dont think it would take a very big winch

i know. they just say the front body mounts line up perfect but the rear ones and crossmember have to be modified which isnt too big of a deal. every other piece of info i've found doesnt tell much and no pictures. theres more info on swapping a toyota cab or jeep or stupid cars like camaros on than a truck cab. think it would be simple if i had one to go off of
